New Jersey is bordered by New York on the north and north eastern parts. It also boarders east of the Atlantic ocean. In many places, the terrain was rocky and ridged, in others it was very rich in virgin soil. The geography in these areas helped with with the farmlands and the planting of veggies and wheat.
